AWS - VintageClip (EARLY BIRD PRICING)

VintageClip is a Max for Live audio effect for Ableton Live that gives you three distinct clipping characters in one simple device.

SILK — Soft Saturation
Smooth, rounded transients with a clean, glued feel. Use it when you want “louder” without sounding pushed.

AMBER — Tube Warmth
Asymmetric clipping that leans into 2nd-harmonic colour. Adds body, thickness, and a slightly forward midrange.

IRON — Hard Clip
Brick-wall clipping with a hard ceiling. Great for peak control, aggressive loudness, or deliberate edge.

Controls

• Drive (0–24 dB): push into the chosen clipping character
• Ceiling (-24–0 dB): sets the clip threshold
• Mix (0–100%): parallel blend for subtle enhancement
• Output: final level trim
• Meters + Clip indicator: quick, honest feedback

Use it on

• Drum bus to lock peaks and add bite
• Bass/synth groups for density
• Mix bus for controlled loudness (level-match when A/B’ing)
